Ave Maria, Golden Lines on a roll in Vic Enterprises cagefest

The Ave Maria Sanctuary Park took a ruthless 81-48 beating of DMP-Mitsubishi, while the Golden Lines Shipping escaped with an 86-84 victory over Cebu Lite Trading to take a 3-0 lead in the Vic Enterprises Invitational Cup basketball tournament last Sunday at the CEC gym.

In the other games, 100 Plus Isotonic Drink spilled Roble Shipping, 83-79, for its first win in two games, while the Unilink Shipping slammed Cyber Rasta, 82-75, to move into solo second place with a 2-1 win-loss card.

Aris Jayme and Anthony Cenabre had 21 and 14 points, respectively, for Golden Lines. George Uy, the league’s commissioner, chipped in seven points.

The tandem of Jimbo Noel and Inting Reyes connived for 31 points for Lite Trading of playing coach Boy Te.
