Quickflight racers shine in Sagay moto-x

It was mission accomplished for Team Castrol-Quickflight Racing daredevils as they bagged home a championship and a couple of runner-up trophies in the Sinigayan Motocross Invitational-Governor Maranon Challenge over the weekend in  Sagay, Negros Occidental.

Castrol-Quickflight skipper Pepo Rubi came out second to Dondon Yuson in the premiere open division despite being destructed by the malfunction of his dirtbike.

Keith Babano Galaura proved his worth to be part of the team by duplicating Pepo’s performance in the beginner’s class.

The veteran Jun Enriquez,for his part, handed the team a champion’s trophy in the executives division.

The comebacking Clark Wagas sealed the team’s bid with a fourth place finish in the open production class.

Castrol-Quickflight only fielded in four riders in Sagay as the categories being contested were limited.

The Castol-Quickflight riders now train their sights on the third leg of the 2008 MS Motosuit Motocross Series billed as the “10th Ornopia Cup” next week in Calambua, San Remigio. –Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
