Danao City to stage Summer bike festival

Local pedal-pushers return to northern part of Cebu for the Danao City Sports Commission (DCSC)-organized Summer Bikefest on April 6.

The race route will be from Danao to Lugo and back.

The competition is divided into four classes:A,combined B and C, “By Invitation” and the RB.

The RB, also known as the “Red Baron” class, is open to road racers who are 50 years old and above.

Close to P12,000 in cash prizes are up for grabs for all the category winners.

The top three riders in each class will receive a uniform prize of P1,500, P1,000 and P500, respectively.

Registration is free. The organizers will also provide free lunch for all the participants. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
