Quickflight Racing, one of Cebu’s most established dirtbike racing squad, got an added boost with its tie up with Castrol. The team will be officially called Castrol Quickflight Racing Team.
Quickflight actually has two major corporate backers but the other sponsor requested the team’s main man Pepo Rubi not to mention the name of their company as what they want in return is for the riders to do their best and show they are worthy of their support.
The Castrol-Quickflight was formally launched during the Kaamulan Festival recently in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
The official members of the team are expert rider Ted Conde, the fast-rising Kitt Galaura, novice riders Bembem and Archy Babano, intermediate division bet Clark Wagas, father and daughter Jun and Junelyn Enriquez, and Nico and Atoy Belican. Popeye Rubi is the team manager.
Castrol-Quickflight is set to leave today for a two-day invitational motocross in Sagay, Negros Occidental.
A new venue and racetrack design are something to look forward for the Castrol-Quickflight riders.
The members of Castrol-Quickflight Racing Team have expressed their commitment to participate in all races that will be part of the 2008 MS Motosuit Motocross Racing. They will also see action in other races in the Visayas and Mindanao area.
