Huskies rule Season 6 of Professional Youth hoop

Gullas charted 18 points for the Huskies, who gamely held off repeated attempts by the Sunday Group to pull away in the closing seconds of the contest.

The Sunday Group succeeded in knotting the count at 70-all with two seconds remaining.  Lady luck, however, smiled at the Huskies as the Sunday Group committed an ill-advised foul on Mariano.

Mariano showed nerves of steel to calmly sink his two free throws. Sunday Group’s Jun Gaed then threw a desperate 3-pointer that went airball as the gameclock expired.
