Jumapao, Lim shine in BTA monthly tourney
Jomar Jumapao and Michelle Lim stole the show in the past two stagings of the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA) Bowler of the Month at the Gaisano Country Mall in Brgy. Banilad, this city.
Jumapao toppled 1,621 pins to clinch the February title, while Lim knocked 1,604 pins to come out as January’s best.
Kim Lao settled for third place honors in the joint January-February tilt with 1,571 puinfalls followed by Wilbert Yu with 1,555 and Clarence Tiu with 1,551.
Rounding up the top 10 finishers were Xyrra Cabusas (1,522), Charly Michael (1,506), Jacklynn Lim (1,483), Clark Tiu (1, 480), and Luther Tapaya (1,441).
The qualifying round for the March edition of the monthly tilt set on April 6 has already started yesterday. –Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
