Press conference for La Fortuna Cup II today

Coaches and representative of six teams invited to play in the La Fortuna Cup 2, slated next week at the Cebu Coliseum, will have a press conference at 11:30 today at the La Fortuna Sto. Niño Branch.

So far, the big guns of CESAFI, including UV, USC, USJ-R, SWU, ACT and SIT, have expressed their interest to join the tournament.

According to organizer Lorenzo “Chao” Sy, the tournament to be played at the Cebu Coliseum, acts as warm-up for the forthcoming National Students Basketball Championships (NSBC) from February 25 to March 2.

The top four teams in the NSBC (two from the college division and two from the juniors) will represent the Philippines in the Asian University Games that Cebu will host in June. (GGM)
