The University of Cebu booters remain unbeaten as it topped Bracket A with a 5-0 slate in the ongoing 54th Don Bosco Founder’s Day 11-aside Men’s Open tournament at the Don Bosco Seminary football field.
UC dumped the Inter Lapu-Lapu Football Club (ILFC) 3-0 to add the club to its list of victims.
Jake Nahid, one of UC’s mainstays, scored two goals while Rodney Gantioco netted another goal for the victory.
Don Bosco United Football Club (DBUFC), on the other hand, is also on a romp after a convincing 2-0 win over the Queen City United Football Club. Jonathan Sollo scored all the goals for Don Bosco to help the club secure its second win in Bracket B.
The 11-Aside tournament advances to its semifinal round Saturday evening while the championship will be on Sunday afternoon.
