Don Bosco United Football Club off to hot start

The Don Bosco United Football Club blasted Don Bosco College FC, 5-2, to start off its title campaign in the 54th Don Bosco Founder’s Day 11-Aside Men’s Open Football Tournament yesterday at the Don Bosco Seminary fields.

University of Cebu, on the other hand, also got off to the best possible it could by routing University of the Philippines FC, 3-0.

On the other hand, the University of Southern Philippines Foundation Alumni met tough resistance before eking out a 2-1 win over Inter-Lapulapu FC.

Also, Queen City Football Club edged  out San Roque United Football Club, 1-0, to join the winners’ list of the one-day tournament spearheaded by Don Bosco rector Fr. Lan Guaio in coordination with Coach Glenn Ramos, David Ferales, Lito Bono and Robert Nicart. — Marigold P. Lebumfacil, Correspondent
