Atan Guardo bags first win in Cebu Ballers cagefest

Atan Guardo-Sherilin logged its first victory in the All Cebu Ballers League Basketball Tournament following a 102-91 victory over the smaller Philhealth squad at the Lapu-Lapu Gym over the weekend.

Atan Guardo-Sherilin utilized its height advantage to contain the Randy Dela Pisa-led Philhealth.

Jingo Custodio and Biboy Potencioso led Atan Guardo with their inside and outside barrage in the lopsided game that netted them a combined 51-point production.

The former high leaping University of the Visayas dribbler, Randy Dela Pisa scored 29 markers in a losing effort for Philhealth.
