Team Orange pulled off back-to-back victories in four-day span in the Tejero Archers Basketball Association (TABA) Inter-Color Basketball Tournament at the Tejero Sports Complex.
The Orange cagers of team captain and T. Padilla Brgy. Councilman Edgar Camota triumphed over Black, 74-66, last November 26. It was a different way around in their next game as they had to go through some scary moments before squeaking past White, 54-53.
Against Black, the Orange mainstays were in complete command and never allowed their opponents to pull away after they took a 40-34 advantage at halftime.
In stark contrast, Orange had to overhaul an early 6-15 deficit before snatching victory from the jaws of defeat against White.
Orange trailed by 10 points at the break, 20-30, but rallied back the the final half where it outscored White, 34-23, to steal the win in come-from-behind fashion. — EBV
