Inter-City caging goes North and South

The games of the 1st Inter-City Cup Basketball Challenge goes north and south with matches scheduled in Bogo and ToThe Bogo Bogoys hosts the Talisay Aquastar while the Toledo Dream Team plays Danao Pistols in its home turf.

Bogo and Talisay are trying to chalk up their first win the 6-team inter-city basketball challenge sponsored by Senate President Manny Villar and organized by businessman Lorenzo “Chao” Sy.

So far, the Lapu-Lapu Chiefs are leading the tournament with a 2-0 card. The Chiefs edged Bogo 73-68 during the inaugural game and chalked up their second win with an 82-79 decision over Toledo Dream Team last Monday.

The other major sponsors of the tournament are Nature’s Spring, Omega Pain Killer, Casino Rubbing Alcohol, CFL Focus Lamp, Yayoy’s Grill, MLKP and La Fortuna Bakery. (GGM)
