Garcia-Solon tandem rules Class A in CCTC tennis

The tandem of Atty. Alfredo “Golaks” Garcia and Titing Solon snatched the Class A championship in the 2007 Cebu City Tennis Club (CCTC) Commercial  Tournament at the Baseline tennis courts.

Garcia and Chiong bested Sano Delgra and Tata Cimafranca in the one-sided finals, 8-3.

Tomas Misa and Teddy Faburada stole part of the limelight when they eked out an 8-6 victory over Siongo Yang ang Ing-Ing Paradiang to bag the Class B crown.

Cesar Manalili and Jeffrey Enad joined the winners’ circle when they outlasted Dodong Tallo and Dodong Beltran to claim the Class C title of the week-long tilt ran by  tournament director Richie Bacalso and supported by Accord Savings Bank, Inc , Tavos Sport, Bank of Makati, Chris Sports, and Naga City Mayor Val Chiong. — EBV
