Isle of Man regains top spot in M. Lhuillier softball

The Isle of Man is back on top of the 3rd M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala Invitational Softball Tournament with a 3-1 win-loss card after winning a double-header versus Pusok Selection last Sunday at the San Roque ballpark.

The Isle of Man only needed four innings to score 10 runs against Pusok in the first game.

Sandy Ladisla and Ian Impacis jazzed up the win by hitting three homers each in the third inning.

Ladisla again hit a homerun in the fourth allowing teammates Jonathan Burgos and Denola to score. Another homer by Carrieboy dela Cerna settled the match for Isle of Man.

In their return match, the Isle of Man beat Pusok, 10-3, with Carrieboy dela Cerna and Alinto Adolfo hitting homeruns in the second and sixth innings, respectively.

Defending champion M. Lhuillier Sports and Development Foundation (MLSDF) finally barged into the winner’s column after three games by beating erstwhile leader Pau de Arco, 6-1.— Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
