2 Jaycees teams to play in Cebu

The best Jaycees teams from Cagayan de Oro and Manila will visit Cebu on October 10 to play two matches here as part of an annual basketball goodwill project.

Newly crowned Cebu JBA champion Versacool of Cebu will play the Cagayan de Oro Jaycees, the champion in their chapter’s tournament.

The Manila Jaycees, the NCR champion, who will play in the 40 and above category, will tangle with Lite Shipping Corporation, second placer in the 11th season of the JBA that ended September 23 at the City Sports Club.

Jaycee Benedict Chua, a member of the champion Versacool team announced the visit in Cebu of two Jaycees teams during a recent meeting. (GGM)
