The month-long tournament offers a total of P30,000 in prize money. The champion will take home P13,000, the second placer gets P6,000, while the third and fourth placers will receive P2,500 each. Quarterfinalists or those who make it to the round of 16 will receive P500.
Class A, B and C players are allowed to play but a handicapping system will be applied to make the tournament more competitive.
Fisherman’s Net Restaurant Manager Arlyn Bucalin with Magi Stable and Promotions Magi Magadan announced that this event is “geared towards the development of 9-ball players in the Visayas-Mindanao area.”
Bucalin added that Fisherman’s Net Restaurant is eager to stage this kind of tournament because they want to identify, help and develop potential 9-ball players.
Qualifying matches will start this weekend with succeeding matches every Saturday and Sunday thereon at the said venue. The top four players from every round will advance to the round of 16. Registration fee is P300 and the re-entry fee is P250. Registration starts at
