Abrenica scores back-to-back wins in Talisay hoop
Abrenica Engineering posted back-to-back victories at the expense of Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SCSIT), 84-78, in the open division of the 2007 Talisay Mayor’s Cup basketball tournament at the Talisay City Sports Complex.
Abrenica’s Lumantas proved unstoppable in the last quarter, scoring a total of 29 points. Abrenica now totes a 2-1 card, SCSIT dropped to a 1-1 mark.
In the seniors division, Tabunok 2 thrashed Pooc 80-67. In other senior’s games Cansojong scored 105 against the 67 of Poblacion 2, while Tabunok defeating Lawa-an 3A, 90-75.
