ACN Binglens utilized its vast experience to escape with a 72-69 victory over Argao Personal Collection and take the solo lead in the open division of the 2007 Talisay City Mayor’s Cup basketball tournament at the city’s sports complex.
Former commercial star Michael Dumdum torched 20 points for ACN Binglens followed by Jonathan Canceran with 17. Daryl Smith and Ope Abellana connived for 31 points as they notched their second straight win in as many games.
On the other hand, the Allan Abellana led-Biasong won against Lawaan, 60-52 in the seniors division.
Abellana got nil in the first period, but spewed fire in the next three quarters to topscore Biasong with 20 points.
In the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) division, Cansojong was in complete command from start to finish to annihilate Dumlog, 91-72.
