Egay and Heber Alqueza rule 2nd BOSS kegfest
The father-and-son tandem of Egay and Heber Alqueza fought in perfect harmony to win the 2nd Bowler’s One Stop Shop (BOSS) Bowling Tournament over the weekend at the SM City-Cebu Bowling Center.
Egay and Heber, a student of St. Benedict Childhood Education Center, claimed the top post after knocking down 1,245 pins.
The Drossels, who come from
BOSS owner and Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) director Lolito Sy and his son Brian settled for fourth place with 1,096 pinfalls, while Vivian Padawan and her son Aui were fifth with 1,095 pins. Hitoshi Aoyama and his son Jonathan settled for sixth place honors with 1,090 pinfalls.It was a double celebration for the Alquezas as they also won the highest team single with handicap award with 450 pinfalls. Brian Sy grabbed the highest single with handicap with 230 pins.
