The Cebu Customs United Personnel Association (CCUPA) nipped the Collector’s squad, 77-61, to book the remaining championship ticket in the 35-above class of the Cebu Employees and Brokers Union (CEBU)-Collector’s Cup 2007 basketball tournament at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.
With the win, CCUPA earned the right to challenge Customs Police for the coveted title next week.
Behind the excellent quarterbacking of Roland Nacario, CCUPA opened the game with a 18-6 run and then blew the game wide open using an 18-0 spread in the third canto.
