YES Marketing tallies 2nd win in Sunrisers Cup

YES Marketing-White logged its second straight victory after beating Sunrisers-Blue, 72-61, in the Sunrisers Basketball Club-2007 President George Uy Cup Inter-Color basketball tournament last Sunday at the Sacred Heart Parish Gym in D. Jakosalem St., Cebu City.

The White squad leaned on the efforts of veteran guard Ruel Sestoso and Jai Cortes, who nailed 12 and 11 markers, respectively.

On the other hand, Boy Maranga and Vergel Fuentes paced the losing Sunrisers-Blue with 10 points each.

 YES Marketing took the leadership with 2-0 standing while Sunrisers-Blue remained in the bottom with no win.

In the main game, Suns-Orange nipped Sunrisers-Green, 78-73, to even their standing with 1-1 win-loss card.

Andy Miñoza spearheaded Suns-Orange with a game-high 20 points while Dennis Borinaga and Henry Mangyao solidly backed him up with 16 and 14, respectively.

Jun Ranile and Dennis Lim contribute 21 and 16, respectively, to lead the Green squad while Arthur Canoy and Sonny Mengane added 10.
