Beverly Farm shackles GAA Inc.

The Alex Cainglet-led Beverly Farm pulverized the GAA Selection, Inc., 105-85, in the open division of the 1st Friendship Unity Cup Open/Inter-Company and Inter-Sitio Basketball Tournament at the Guadalupe Sports Complex.
Earlier, RBI demolished Pharmart, 91-69. The Guadalupe three-category cage tilt is organized by Lito Posadas, Michael Granada and Harold Lopez in cooperation with the Guadalupe barangay council headed by Brgy. Capt. Jingjing Faelnar.
Cainglet, who left the game at the end of the third period, topscored Beverly Farm of coach Ancing Anciado and team owner Beverly Busmion with 20 points followed by Rondell Roncal and former UV Lancer Randy de la Pisa with 17 and 16 markers, respectively.
The GAA Inc. counted on Junie Ararao and Allan Ricaña for offense, but they were no match against the star-studded Beverly Farm crew that is fortified by a slew of commercial veterans in the likes of Abe Galinato, Ariel Maraño, Ronald Paraiso, Jumel Lanutan, Herbert France and Jessie Lumantas.
GAA Inc. was in the game only in the first period as Beverly Farm ripped the game part at halftime, 61-39. Beverly''s largest lead stood at 24 points, 99-75, on Roncal''s basket with 2:31 left in the game.
