Ramon Fernandez cage clinic starts tomorrow

The Ramon Fernandez Basketball Academy "Walk Tall with Basketball" summer clinic starts tomorrow at the Metro Sports Badminton Club basketball court in Lahug.
Registration starts at 7:30 am. Inquiries can be addressed at (032) 422-3682 and look for Mhiez or at 09209616550.
The Ramon Fernandez Basketball Academy is an 8-day training with an enrollment fee of P3,000 inclusive of an El Presidente Sportivo basketball, two training jerseys and a certificate of attendance.
The clinic schedules will be April 11, 12, 13, 16,17, 18, 19 and 20. All Metro Sports and Club Ultima members get a 10 percent discount.
Fernandez, a journeyman from Maasin, Leyte, who made the University of San Carlos proud with his achievements in basketball, is a Hall of Fame awardee in the PBA where he was awarded four times as the most valuable player (MVP).
He is the holder of the all-time highest scoring record of 18,996 points.
Adding colors to his illustrious basketball career were his stint with the Philippine Team, which competed in the Asian Games.
Fernandez have attended training seminars of world-renowned professional coaches from the United States, among which were NBA coaches Tex Winters and Dale Brown.
Winters, a member of the Chicago Bulls and LA Lakes coaching staff with Phil Jackson, is the father of the "Triangle Offense" while Brown, the former coach of the Louisiana State University, started the "Basketball for Kids" program.
