In the regulation time, CIS' Joshua Fegidero made the first goal at the fifth minute and TCC's Ryan Bordalba followed back at the 15th to equal the score, 1-1.

In the penalty shoot-out, first two kickers of CIS, namely Delvon Park and Paulo Cases, and TCC's, Ryan Bordalba and Jordan Diao, successfully entered the net, to make it 2-all.
Then, CIS' Jesus Singson failed in his attempt, paving the way for TCC to grab the upperhand, 3-2, courtesy of TJ Mateo.
However, veteran Michael Sharpe, a member of the RP U-21 team, retaliated for CIS as he easily banged in his shot to again tie the score, 3-all.
The battle went tougher as TCC's RJ Sembrano failed and the fifth kickers, Joshua Fegidero of CIS and Andrian Mijaran of TCC, both hit their targets for a 4-all scoring.
Thus, the fate of the team relied on the sixth and last kickers.
But the CVIRAA champions had the last hurrah after Romero completed the conquest at 5-4 with CIS' Marco Asteras missing his shot.
