The victory came even sweeter for Jubannie Abellar even without the presence of rider of this year Irwin Uypitching as he was able to stun his teammate Jon-Jon Adlawan, who had just competed in the FIM Motocross of Asia-Philippine leg in Palawan as well as another veteran Pepo Rubi.
Uypitching, for his part, did not join the race here as he was committed to participate in Iloilo, which also happened over the weekend.
Adlawan eventually wound up second and Rubi was third
It was a double victory actually for Jubannie Abellar as he also won the intermediate open over his younger brother Jubenile as Chai Hong Sy wound up third.
Like his brother Jubannie, Samantha Abellar also had a great day as she finally got a leg title for herself in the mini class after beating Jon-jon Flores for the top post while Bonjo Molinar ended third.
The day also belonged to Donkey Sanchez after winning three titles via the beginner's production, open enduro and 125 local enduro.
Sanchez defeated Jade Planas in the beginners open production with Ayen Ledesma at third place while in the novice open enduro, Ledesma trailed Sanchez for second place and Bonie Bustillo was third place.
In the 125 Local Enduro, Bustillo missed the top spot again with Sanchez coming out faster as Oris Micubo landed third.
Chai Hong Sy dominated the novice open production over Paolo Inoc and Clark Nagas, who ended second and third respectively.
Andot Rubi went unstoppable again in the executive-A and left Jun Enriquez with the second place honors and Aloy Igot with the third place.
The Executive Class B went to Bryan Thomason as Jun Enriquez grabbed another second place finish and Siegfred Ornopia ended third.
A back-to-back victory was also claimed by Manuel Wagas as he ruled the executive C again, this time, against Sarge Espina and Allan Canape.
Albert Belasco, Dennis Waca, Ian Meñoza, Berto Totoy and Marlon Inocando also step into the winner's podium after occupying the 1-2-3-4-5 spots of the pantra race.
