Aboitiz CebuFA starts quarterfinals at San Roque field

The quarterfinal round of the 10th Aboitiz CebuFA Men's Cup (Division 2) will kick off today at the San Roque field in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

Advancing to the quarterfinals are Team Cebu City (TCC) and University of San Carlos (USC) in bracket A while bracket B includes Queen City United (QCU)-CAFC and Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT).

On the other hand, teams Metropolitan Football Club (MFC) and Maitland-Smith FC as well as Cebu International School (CIS) and Uptown United FC were the top two teams in brackets C and D, respectively.

The games on set are TCC versus CIT at 8 am, Queen City United versus Maitland FC at 10am, CIS versus USC at 12:30pm and Metropolitan FC versus Uptown FC at 2:30pm.

Quarterfinal winners will advance to the semifinal stage on April 1, still at the San Roque field. - Marigold P. Lebumfacil
