Ex-University of San Carlos (USC) Warrior center/forward Danny Infantado and ex-University of Cebu (UC) Webmaster Kern Sesante spearheaded Rollway’s attack even as they were joined by PJ Urbina and Dodong Francia in completing dominating the hapless MEDMA cagers.
Rollway also relied on the excellent quarterbacking skills of playing coach, Amay Palad, Christian Villa Castin and Dennis Lauron as it went on to post a commanding 24-point bulge at halftime, 52-28. The rest was history.
Infantado and Sesante spearheaded Rollyway’s assault with 37 points combined as they notched their third win.
In the 35-above category, the Assessment Five registered its first win in four attempts after crushing the winless Wharfinger, 79-69.
Hotshot Ferdie Sigue threw out the night’s best performance by drilling in 27 points - all from the 3-point land, six of which he dropped in a game-ripping rally in the second quarter.
Power-forward Jun Borromeo solidly backed up Sigue with 18 points, most of them fast-break plays in the final stretch.
Elmer Bailio was also a big factor for Assessment as his playmaking acumen bailed them out of danger in the closing minutes of the game.
Aldwin Capahi and En-en Basalo scored 16 and 12 points, respectively, to lead Wharfinger, while Rodilen Solidarius added 11 markers.
