Don Bosco rules 12-under in Aboitiz Cup

Don Bosco College (DBC)-A ruled the Boys-12 class after stomping Pepito Football Club, 2-0, in the Aboitiz CebuFa championship game at the San Roque field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Junjay Arizabal took the cudgels for Don Bosco as he broke the ice in the 15th minute of the game and John Paulo followed in the 44th for the victory.
Cebu International School (CIS), on the other hand, grabbed the third place title after winning over PAREF Springdale, 4-3, via penalty shoot out after tying 2-all in regulation.
Martin Mendoza gave Springdale its first goal at the 18th but Thomas Booth of CIS retaliated in the 24th minute.
Then, Mendoza saw an opening at the back of the net at the 32nd but CIS' Rowdy Elbers answered back at the 35th.
In the Boys-15, DBC-A blanked host San Roque Football Club (SRFC), 4-0, to occupy the third place.
Louie Inez made the first score for DBC-A as he broke SRFC's defense in the 21st and he followed it up in the 49th for the 2-0 lead.
Jonathan Caballero erupted in the 62nd and Richello de guzman sealed the game in the 70th minute to complete the 4-0 shutout. - Correspondent Marigold P. Lebumfacil
