Cebu leg of Milo Junior Tennis opens at Casino Español

Over a hundred entries are expected in the kick off of the Milo Junior Tennis Championships-Cebu leg at the Casino Español today.

A second venue is also being considered should matches be hard to squeeze into the two-weekend battle.

Some visiting players from other areas in the Visayas had sent feelers to join the event to give Cebuano bets a better challenge.

Leading the cast will be the Siso siblings namely Nino, Sallydine and Sally Mae as well as Jacob Lagman.

Lagman's sister, Jessica will also be out to prove her worth in the clay courts one more time.

The other bets are Lovelie Soquiño, Kristel Mae Buenacosa and the Cabahug twins.

The other young fast-rising Cebuano netter, Vince Marc Tabotabo, however, will not be around as he is currently in Manila for this year's Manila Polo tennis tournament.

Categories to be competed in this action are the unisex 10-under and the boys and girls-12, 14, 16,and 18 years-old and under classes.
