Tabotabo enters quarters in Milo Age-Group tennis

Vince Marc Tabotabo of Tuburan secured a ticket to the quarterfinal round of the Milo Age-Group Tennis Cup at the Dapitan tennis courts in Manila yesterday.

Tabotabo, who enjoyed a bye in the 10-under class, moved forward after winning his second round assignment over Joey Echague, 6-0, 6-0.

The next opponent of Tabotabo, who is supported by Vice-governor Greg Sanchez, Accord Bank and Tavo's Sports, is not yet known as of press time.

Another young Cebuano netter, Jacob Lagman, was also scheduled to play yesterday, but the result of his game is still unavailable.

Like Tabotabo, Lagman also enjoyed a first-round bye.

The Siso siblings namely Niño, Sally Dine and Sally Mae dit not join the competition as they opted to take the Christmas break to go Ozamis, the hometown of their mother, Sally.

The Siso siblings also wanted to visit the tomb of their father and coach, Dino, who died months ago.
