Aznar, whose family is the partner of Sta. Lucia Realty and Development Inc. in the Alta Vista project, scored two-under-par 70 strokes to bag the low gross honors.
That feat however became more of a sidelight to his participation in the tournament as he aced the 150-yard hole No. 13 last Saturday to win P500,000 from the club, a Yamaha motorcycle from Norkis Trading, and an additional P20,000 from Aviva.
The class A title went to Tony Amor, who carded a net 62 strokes off a gross one-under-par 71. Amor won the title by virtue of the countback over Felix Villanueva, who also had a net 62 and settled for the first runner-up honors. Evans Tumaliwan finished as 2nd runner-up after edgin Nolan Rada in the countback. Both had net scores of 63 strokes.
The class B title went to Richard Lim with a net score of 62 strokes while Harumasa Hoshino took the first runner-up plum with his net 63 after edging Arturo Go in the countback. Go settled for the 2nd runner-up honors.
Ari Clinton Lee pulled past two others in the tight battle for the class C title owing to a spectacular back nine performance to top class C. Lee had a net score of 65 together with first runner-up Rico Rey Francis Holganza and second runner-up Gerald Co.
In the seniors' division, Ong Hian Khing scored a net 60 to claim the top honors and was followed by Eduardo Sanchez at 1st runner-up with a net 62 and Antonio Sikimhua with a net 63 as 2nd runner-up.
The guest division plum went to Calvin Gothong with a net score of 66 and he was followed by Dr. Vic Cajita at 1st runner-up with a net 68 and Nestor Jalandoni at 2nd runner-up with a net 69 after he edged Atty. Marlou Velasquez.
The ladies division title went to Florendo Eroy with a net score of 66 while first runner-up was Emma Bayer with a net score of 70.
The dependents' division title went to Martin Mendoza with a net score of 73.
The awards ceremony of the tournament was held at the AVGCC poolside with Team Cebu City Dancesport athletes Jimmy Noel and Karla Fornolles as guest performers.
