UC and USJ-R pace mechanical engineers' caging at Don Bosco

The University of Cebu (UC) and Cebu State College of Science and Technology (CSCST) remained undefeated to share the lead in the First Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (JPSME) Inter-School Basketball League championship at Don Bosco Technological College (DBTC) in Labangon.

Team UC downed host DBTC, 75-42, behind the coaching of engineers Rodel Naval and Julius Castro.

It was followed by the victory of Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) over University of San Jose Recoletos (USJ-R), 73-69.

On the other hand, CSCST, with only six players in the row, trounced University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF), 74-66.

Advancing to the next round were UC, CSCST, CIT and USJ-R.

The tournament was supervised by Engr. Albert Nuñez, president of PSME Cebu chapter and PSME-Cebu Chapter Chairman for Students Unit, Engr. Edgar U. Tibay
