Team 6 is Team of the Week in CETBA Juniors bowling

Team 6 bagged another "Team of the Week" award after the seventh outing of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) Juniors-Rotary Club of Cebu Port Center League at the SM City Bowling Center.

The trio of John Galindo, Genie Silva and John Gasataya of Team 6 snatched the top team honors after posting a total of 1,718 pinfalls.

With the victory, they padded their lead to 27 points.

Team 5 trails with 19 points while Team 4 and 2, which has an identical 14 points, occupied the third and fourth places, respectively.

Team 3 settled fifth with 11 points as Team 1 ended sixth with five points.

James Zuluaga, who is under Team 5, logged the highest single with handicap again after toppling 280 pins.

Chris Foyle of Team 2, however, prevented Zuluaga from duplicating his feat of taking two special awards after the former bagged the bowler of the week award with 671 pins.

The action is expected to be tougher with three playing dates left.
