MS Motosuit race series swings back to Carcar

- Caecent No-ot Magsumbol -
After a short rest, the MS Motosuit Motocross Series will be back into heated action as it shifts to higher gear with the staging of the 9th leg in the municipality of Carcar south of Cebu this Sunday.

Billed as the "1st Dr.Andres Fernandez Memorial Cup", the event will take place at Villa Anuman racetrack in Brgy. Liburon of the bustling town famous for its ampao and chicharon delicacies.

This is the second time that Brgy. Liburon is hosting the MS Motosuit Series, the first was held last May 28 via the 5th leg.

This Sunday's race promises to be more exciting with the presence of leading rider Irwin Ramas-Uypitching and his closest rival Pepo Rubi, who were both absent during the first time Carcar hosted the event due to other commitments.

PowerSports Racing star Jon-Jon Adlawan, one of Cebu's promising daredevils, has also expressed his intent to compete in Carcar. Adlawan ruled the premiere class of the Liburon Cup over teammates Jubenile and Jubannie Abellar.

Adlawan is one of the only two riders besides Rubi and Uypitching who took home a champion's trophy in the experts class, so far, in the series. The other is Glenn Aguilar.

MS Motosuit top honcho Lou Ornopia is expecting around 50 riders to see action in the 9th leg organized by Rudy Nadela and William Racoma.

Among the regular categories to be contested are the expert open, beginners-B, intermediate, executives A and B, novice open production and open enduro, mini, beginner's open production, and the local 125 enduro.
