PaBol lands in Final 8 in Alaska Cup

The Cebu-based PaBol Football Club landed in the Final 8 of the girls 16-year old division in the 2006 Alaska National Cup at the Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila.
PaBol, however, missed to get the title after losing to Brent International School, 0-1.
PaBol barged into the Final 8 after winning two games against Statefields, Cavite, 7-0 and De La Salle Lipa, 1-0. They also scored a draw with Baguio, 1-1, before losing to Alabang Orins, 0-6, going into the quarterfinals.
The CIS girls 16, for their part, according to Cebu Football Association president, Jonathan Maximo, lost in the second round to State Academy.
PaBol's girls 12 under, earlier, landed third place in division A after grabbing three wins and a loss.
