While the celebrated American trainer Freddie Roach predicts an easy knockout victory for Manny Pacquiao, legendary ring tactician Jose Morales, the father of Erik, thinks otherwise.
The older Morales yesterday expressed confidence his son will prevail over Pacquiao and that they will win most probably by knockout.
"We are definitely going to win - maybe even by knockout," Jose Morales told fightnews.com.
Erik Morales, on the other hand, said he feels "unbelievably strong" and vowed he will definitely make weight in time for his November 18 rubbermatch with Pacquiao at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.
"Not only I am on weight, but I feel stronger than ever," said Morales, who scaled in at 142 pounds during a public weigh-in in Mexico City.
Meanwhile, over 10,000 tickets have been sold for the Pacquiao-Morales III billed as 'The Grand Finale.'
"Ticket sales are phenominal," said Top Rank big boss Bob Arum, who is promoting the fight in association with Wynn Las Vegas.
