The University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors teams hope to win their semifinal round assignments today for an all-Warriors finals in the Milo Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training (BEST) Basketball Tournament at Don Bosco College gym.
The Warriors grabbed two tickets in the paserelle and the small basketeers of the Philippines division.
In the passerelle division, USC's North Campus-B faces the University of Cebu in the first semifinal match while USC South Campus takes the 3pm schedule opposite defending champion Don Bosco College.
In the SBP penultimate round, USC-South Campus A also meets another squad from DBC.
USC-North-A, for its part, will tackle the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit.
Of the two USC teams in the SBP seeing action today, USC-SC-A has the biggest assignment as it guns for its 14th Cebu leg title.
The winners of the Cebu elimination will face the top squads of Iloilo and Bacolod in Iloilo City on November 18 for the Regional Finals.
The Visayas champion will then meet the other champions from Luzon, NCR and Mindanao in the battle for the National crown later this year. - Caecent O. No-ot
