Trillo, who is presently one of Tim Cone's assistants at the Alaska bench in the PBA, said the tryout is open only to players aged 26 years old and below.
"I'm inviting those who are interested to be part of our PBL team to join the tryout. It's really been my desire to hire the services of Cebuano players because we're carrying a Cebu team. Besides, I also know for the fact that Cebu is full of basketball talents," said Trillo.
Interested applicants may call Trillo at 0920-9208502.
Cebuana Lhuillier is one of the two guest teams that will see action in the PBL Silver Cup, which opens shop on November 11. The other is Mail and More.
The comeback of the Cebu-based Cebuana Lhuillier is expected to further boost the popularity of the country's premier amateur cage league being one of the long-time pillars of basketball in the South.
This marks the first time that Cebuana Lhuillier will again be playing in the league after 20 years of absence but owner Jean Henri Lhuillier is already excited with the prospects of pitting his team against the finest squads in Manila.
With so many exciting players in its fold, Cebuana Lhuillier-Pera Padala also hopes to rekindle its love affair with hoop fanatics starting next month.
"We have a long and colorful history with the PBL when it was still known as the Philippine Amateur Basketball League (PABL). It is only fitting that we come back to basketball through the PBL," said Lhuillier.
