Cebuano tablenetters to play in Bacolod

Cebuano table tennis players will be gearing up for this year's LOPTTA Invitational Table Tennis Championships in Bacolod City on November 4 and 5.

Leading the campaign for the Cebuanos is the University of Cebu Webmasters, who will be coached by Jiji Jawad-Honoridez.

They will be joined among others by the Metro Cebu Table Tennis League (MECTTEL) and the Hua Ching Foundation. Different universities here are also expected to join the competition.

The Bacolod event is an annual competition that is participated not only by different local clubs, but also by members of the national team and the training pool.

This year, Honoridez will be sending five players, one of which is female bet Elona Dane Tormis.

She will be joined by the Motel brothers, Emmanuel and Michael, along with Jean Phillippe Honoridez, John Paul Baay and Dannel Jay Tormis.

The events to be competed in Bacolod are the men's team competition, and the mixed 12-under and 10-under action.
