After the postponement last month, Cebuanos will finally get the chance to try their skills and be known world-wide as the ASTIG Revicon: Guinness Dribbling Challenge-Cebu Elimination Round kicks off on October 15 at the University of San Carlos-Technological Campus in Talamban.
The event was supposed to be held at the Mandaue Sports and Cultural Complex, but was transferred to another venue for unknown reasons.
This event is open to all male Filipinos, aged 18 years old and above.
The challenge is to break the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous dribbling. The record is owned by former discuss thrower, African-American Joseph Odhiambo.
Odhiambo was able to dribble non-stop for 26 hours and 40 minutes.
Aside from Cebu, there are also other areas in the country that will be visited by the organizers in search for the world-record breaker.
Entry forms can be secured in different drug stores here.
