Rextel Technology, Sanalva meet for CITBA-Guardo title

Rextel Technofix and Sanalva will be facing each other in the final battle of the Cebu Institute of Technology Basketball Association (CITBA)-Guardo Cup basketball tournament at the Vicente Sotto Memorial gym in barangay Punta Princesa.

Rextel made a come-from-behind victory over Big Three, 86-82, to claim a finals ticket.

Big Three jumped off to a rousing start and was enjoying a comfortable lead until they suddenly collapsed in the final quarter.

Fred Mier, Joel Aguillon, Jeffrey Topacio and Alvin Puno got most of the credits for Rextel's win.

Sanalva, on the other hand, edged-out VSC, 89-88.

Thanks to the heroics of Jolas Lastimosa for converting two charities that spelled victory.
