GEF/Koppel meets San Miguel in SHABA caging tonight

GEF/Koppel hopes to finally savor victory when they tackle San Miguel tonight in the 11th Sacred Heart Alumni Basketball Association (SHABA) basketball tournament.

Going into the next round is already out of reach for Batch 1998 composing GEF/Koppel, but they hope to savor victory even against a neophyte squad, San Miguel of Batch 2006, one of the biggest surprise this year.

San Miguel, on the other hand, hopes to bounce back from defeat against Big Mao.

Meanwhile, defending champion Dunkin Donuts/Gillamacs looks into giving some neat lessons to Hyundai Cebu, after dumping K1 KTV, 91-50.

Same goes to Dunkin's closest rival for the title this year, Bimoli Cooking Oil, after taking a 70-58 win against Chivas Regal, which is set to meet K1.

The other games late last week saw Hyundai'94 outsmarting Kenya, 69- 61, Crazy Dragons defeating Borplus Pipes, 85-63 and Petron Blaze bowing down to MTO, 54-45.
