- Caecent No-ot Magsumbol -
The semifinal round in the Cebu Schools Federation, Inc. (CESAFI) gets underway today at the University of San Carlos gym even as the games for the collegiate football events will be moved to October 3.

Women's division defending champion, USJ-R who grabs the no.1 seat in the semifinals, faces no.4 contender, USC at 8:30am.

Ranked no.3 USP-F follows next against Southwestern University.

In the afternoon, USJ-R, which also the defending champion in the men's division tackles the University of the Visayas.

USP-F faces SWU in the main game with the hope of meeting USJ-R in the finals again.

Meanwhile, football tournament manager Jonathan Maximo of the Cebu Football Association said yesterday that today's games featuring the University of Cebu versus the University Southern Philippines and defending champion University of the Visayas against arch-rival University of San Jose-Recoletos will have to be moved on October 3.

This is because CebuFA will set the Cebu City Sports Center field ready for the Aboitiz National Football Festival.

Also, next week, some collegiate players will be vying for the Visayas Under-19 Championship title in Bacolod.

In another development, sepak takraw tournament manager, Merlie Concepcion, earlier told The Freeman that the sepak takraw event will be set tomorrow at the Aznar Coliseum.
