The 22 year-old Villaver of Team Kalit dominated the climb which covers a total of 20 kilometers with a time of 50 minutes and 42 seconds.
Villaver's teammate, another potential rider, Junjun Canasa claimed the second place, posting 52 minutes and 12 seconds.
Quickflight Racing-J Marketing's Loren Codera was also in a good form, enough for him to come out third with a clocking of 53.06 minutes.
Orlan Toring, under Lapu-Lapu-Rut, settled fourth in 53.12 and teammate Henry Tampus was at fifth spot with 54.10.
Rounding up the top 10 cast in the first stage were Ben Fabroa of the Social Climbers (54.23), Haylin Bardaje (54.40), Rolando Pagnanawon of Kalit (54.58), Lapu-Lapu-Rut's John Paul Baco (55.14) and Spark Kleen's Phillip Radana (55.30).
On the other hand, the 14-k action of class C saw a duplication of the class B result with Kalit posting a 1-2 finish at the Ayala Heights.
Virgilio Hermosa crossed the finish line first but had same time as the second placer, Roger Lastimosa, in 35.08.
Paul Pakit ended third after taking the forefront early with a time of 36.24 while the one-arm cyclist, Rex Gonzalez, also of Kalit was fourth in 37.57
Monas' Micahel Pagalin took the fifth spot.
The sixth to 10th placers were Epifanio Ragasajo (38.17), Calixto Cruz (39.40), Lapu-lapu's Delfin Omesol (40.00), Marcelo Berdin (40.46) and Monas' Pedro Naval (40.48).
The overall team classification in two divisions saw Team Kalit dominating it.
In class B, Kalit collected a total of 49 points and Lapu-Lapu-Rut followed with 43 points as Gwapings had the third spot with 34 points while class C saw Kalit with 49 points as Team no.2 was second with 43 and Lapu-Lapu on third spot with 35 points.
The event, officiated by the RECYCLE and sponsored by Vellum, Miguel Flores, Mayor Ramon Durano, Danao City councilor Boying Rodriguez, Richard Clarke, Atty. Jong Sepulveda, and South Jersey Cycling team, shifts gear to Danao City for the team time trial covering 46 kilometers.
