Big Mao guns down MTO to earn share of lead in SHABA hoopla

Big Mao '87/95 drubbed MTO-05/98, 64-55, to earn a share of the lead in the 11th Sacred Heart Alumni Basketball Association (SHABA) season at the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit gym.

Thus, Big Mao '87/95 joined defending champion Dunkin' Donuts/Gillamac's 97 on top of the totem pole with similar clean 5-0 slates MTO absorbed its third loss in four starts.

The Crazy Dragons, on the other hand, chalked up their first win of the season by whipping DEF/Koppel, 52-36.

In the other games, Bimoli Cooking Oil triumphed over Kenya '03, 77-58, while San Miguel 2006 scored a 70-62 upset over Hyundai '94.

Completing the winners' list were Chivas Regal '96 and Petron Blaze '95. Chivas Regal '96 caught Stanford Labs/Worldwide Steel punch drunk, 56-48, while Petron Blaze '95 scorched Borplus '91/92/93, 56-53.
