Another gold medal was won by the Cebuano dancers for their effort in the team competition, winning the latin team formation. They earlier dominated the standard team formation the other day.
Loloi Rendon and Eleanor Hayco claimed six gold medals together in a day after dominating the international tango, foxtrot, chacha, rumba, samba and waltz-open gold (A2) events.
Rendon and Hayco also had a bronze after braving the amateur international latin open championships featuring five dances.
Aside from that, they also had a gold each from separate dance partners.
Rendon and Charlea Lagaras also blended well in the dance floor and won the professional-amateur (pro-am) samba.
The same also Hayco and Genice Marquez, who ruled the pro-am rumba event.
On the other hand, Jojie del Rosario and Jimmy Noel and Karla Fornolles contributed two golds, apiece.
The del Rosarios won the international waltz and tango-open gold (A1) while Noel and Fornolles reigned in the international chacha and rumba-open gold (A1).
Lowell Barnados and Jeanen Bergado were also not behind after pulling away the gold in the international quickstep-open gold (A1).
Barnados and Bergado also had a silver in the international chacha behind Noel and Fornolles.
