Rebecca "Ricca" Gatal-Alix and partner Renante Saldua powered the team as they grabbed three gold medals.
Alix and Saldua opened their bid with a gold in the international waltz-open inter silver action.
After that, Alix and Saldua came to collect their second gold in the open international silver foxtrot and quickstep events.
They are also enlisted in the international waltz and tango-open pre-bronze(A2 ) and in the amateur international standard-silver battle.
The fourth gold of the day came from the standard dance formation or a team effort.
Genice Marquez and Charlea Lagaras also made an early impact after going away with a silver in the professional rising star-latin.
Marquez and Lagaras improved their performance as they were able to convert their bronze finish in the pro rising star class they got during the International Grand Ball in San Francisco, this time with a silver.
Marquez and Lagaras are also set for two more events-the future champions' international style competition featuring chacha and rumba and the professional open latin battle.
Aside from the two DTCC dance couples, there are four other dance couples who are also expected to contribute gold medals for the Queen City of the South including Loloi Rendon and Eleanor Hayco, Jojie and Jonah del Rosario, Jeanen Bergado and Lowell Bernados and Jimmy Noel and Karla Fornolles.
In San Francisco, California, DTCC got 20 gold medals.
