Bancale fired nines of 40 and 38 to score the lowest gross.
Two other bets from Mactan also topped their respective divisions - Dominador Bartolata for the Young Seniors and Ernesto Sievert for the Mature Seniors. Amado Cabaero of Alta Vista was the only player from another club to have topped his class by ruling the Super Seniors division.
Bartolata had a gross of 92 and a net 67 to win the 55 to 62 years old category and lead a sweep of MIGC for the class. First runner-up was Rudy Pagobo with a net score of 68 and 2nd runner-up honors went to Roberto Balcos with a net 69 winning via the countback over Club Filipino's Nido Lao.
Sivert scored a net 66 to run away with the title for the 63 to 68 years old class. Alta Vista's David Villono was second with a net score of 71 beating two others in the countback. Sam Bumatay of Mactan finished as 2nd runner-up also with a 71 eadging Edgar Gica in the countback.
Cabaero finished with a net score of 72 strokes to win the title for the 69 years old and above category. Alta Vista's John Uy was second with a net score of 75 edging 2nd runner-up Felipe Ventulan of Mactan in the countback.
In the guest division, which was for players who haven't reached the age of 55 years old yet, Edwin Espina of Alta Vista scored a net 67 to win the title. First runner-up was Virgilio Chua of Alta Vista with a net score of 72 and second runner-up was Mactan's Robert Selma with a net 74.
Bombi Aznar, the president of the Federation of Philippine Senior Golfers Inc. Cebu Chapter, was given a special award being the most exercised after shooting a gross score of 113 strokes. - NLQ
