Laude leads Cebu winners in San Carlos City

Cebuano Roy Laude leads the cast of Cebuanos who made waves in the San Carlos City Charter Day National Open Darts Tournament at Jumbo Bar in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Laude won third in the open singles competition of the event behind hometown bet Henry Suerto.
Winnie Ocañada and Dicdic Ramirez, also from Cebu, grabbed part of the limelight in the singles event after making it to the elite top 16 cast.
On the other hand, Jerous Ponce, who teamed up with Marlito Patunog also added glitters to the Cebu squad after winning the silver in the classified doubles against the twice-to-beat Mon Sabalboro of Manila and Julius Jemora of San Carlos City.
Three other Cebuanos, William Encorporado, Alvin Villa and Dicdic Ramirez, who were paired with different darters, also got into the top 10 cast.
Encorparado together with Paparts dela Cruz was fourth while Villa along with San Carlos' Jose Aquisallas and Ramirez with Dumaguete's Jose Nilo Simafranca were joint fifth and sixth placers.
Cebu got a taste of a championship victory as well with Allan Veloso being part of the team that won the classified four-man team competition.
Veloso together with Mon Sabalboro, Raymund Dolocano and Abet Antonio got the team title after beating San Carlos City's Leo Imulaga, Pancho Evillo, Marco Navales with Iloilo's Edward Capaw-an.
William Encorporado's team settled third while Jerous Ponce's squad wound up fifth and Winnie Ocanada's group ending seventh.
