Team RUSI's main man Irwin Ramas-Uypitching turned himself into an unstoppable riding machine as he collected his fifth leg title in the MS Motosuit Motocross Series through the Mayor Geralyn Escario-Cañares Cup recently in Bantayan Island.

Uypitching prevented veteran Pepo Rubi of Quickflight from having a grand Father's Day celebration in the racetrack by winning the top post in the experts class.

The Dumaguete City-native Uypitching was a bit short in the initial heat, but took a firmer grip in the final heat to win the title.

Rubi, winner of the third leg, settled for second place, while Jubenile Abellar finished third.

Andot, Pepo's younger brother, accomplished his target of winning the executives division at the expense of sixth leg winner Aloy Igot. Norbing Comendador had another third place finish.

Nonoy Reluya finally emerged on top after missing the executives B crown several times.

Reluya defeated Jabe Planas, the executive division's heavy favorite Comendador could only go as far as third place.

In the intermediate division, Jubannie Abellar avenged his defeat last week against own brother Joshua, while their other brother Jubenile, came out third.

Joshua made his father Jubal proud of him too by claiming the novice open production's championship trophy. He edged out Adam Ramas-Uypitching and Clark Wagas, who wound up second and third, respectively.

Dongkey Sanchez emerged as the most loaded among the riders who trooped to Bantayan Island with three titles through the local enduro, beginners open production and novice open enduro.

Dongkey Sanchez engaged in heated battle with Jed Luna twice for the top post in the local enduro and novice open enduro. He then defeated Boni Bustillo for the beginners open production crown.

Catalino Entero finally bagged the title denied of him in the previous leg as he won the beginners B against Jabe Planas and Adz Sanchez.

Arvin Montejo, on the other hand, felt like an instant celebrity in the eyes of his fellow Bantayanons when he lorded it over in the all-Bantayan residents race.
